    • Οι τραυματισμοί των παιδιών στις παιδικές χαρές και στους παιδότοπους είναι συχνά σοβαροί και μερικές φορές θανατηφόροι. Οι τραυματισμοί αυτοί προέρχονται συνήθως από πνιγμούς, πτώσεις και κοψίματα από τους εξοπλισμούς των χώρων αυτών. Στην Ελλάδα ο ΕΛΟΤ έχει εκπονήσει τα Ευρωπαϊκά Πρότυπα EN1176 και EN1177, για την βελτίωση του επιπέδου ασφαλείας των παιχνιδιών αυτών. Συγχρόνως το Ελληνικό Κράτος έχει θεσπίσει νομοθεσία για τον τρόπο οργάνωσης και λειτουργίας των παιδικών χαρών. Στο πρώτο κεφάλαιο περιγράφεται ο σκοπός της παρούσας διπλωματικής εργασίας που αφορά αν οι συνοδοί των ανηλίκων γνωρίζουν τους κανονισμούς για την ασφαλή λειτουργία των παιδικών χαρών και των παιδότοπων καθώς και των οργάνων αυτών, και συγχρόνως αν αποδέχονται τα πρότυπα αυτά. Στο δεύτερο κεφάλαιο αναπτύσσονται οι κίνδυνοι των παιχνιδιών σε παγκόσμιο επίπεδο καθώς και των οργάνων των παιδικών χαρών και των παιδότοπων. Δίνεται ο ορισμός των παιδικών χαρών και των παιδότοπων σύμφωνα με την νομοθεσία ενώ καθορίζονται οι διαφορές τους. Στο τρίτο κεφαλαίο αναπτύσσονται οι ρόλοι των προτύπων στην κοινωνία καθώς και τα χαρακτηριστικά των προτύπων EN1176 και EN1177. Στο επόμενο κεφάλαιο περιγράφεται ο σχεδιασμός χώρων παιχνιδιού εντός πόλης και πως καθορίζει η ελληνική νομοθεσία τον αντίστοιχο σχεδιασμό. Στο κεφάλαιο πέντε αναφέρονται τα ερωτήματα που πρέπει να απαντηθούν για να αναζητηθούν δεδομένα για τον σκοπό της εργασίας. Ο σχεδιασμός και η διάθεση του ερωτηματολογίου έγινε σε ηλεκτρονική μορφή. Η εκπαίδευση των καταναλωτών στην έννοια της πιστοποιημένης παιδικής χαράς και της ύπαρξης των προτύπων, θα βοηθήσει την κοινωνία στην απαίτηση νέων παιχνιδότοπων με κριτήρια τα πρότυπα EN1176 και EN1177 αλλά και την μη τροποποίηση πιστοποιημένων χώρων.
    • The injuries of children in playgrounds and fun parks are often serious and sometimes fatal. These injuries are usually caused by choking or falls and cuts by the equipment of such venues. In Greece, the Hellenic Body for Standardization (ELOT) has followed and applied the European Standards EN1176 and EN1177 for the improvement of the safety level of such equipment. At the same time, the Greek Government has enacted legislation on how to organize and operate these types of venues. The first chapter describes the purpose of this thesis as to whether minors' escorts are aware of the regulations for the safe operation of playgrounds and fun parks and their equipment but also whether they accept the safety standards. In the second chapter, the dangers of toys and equipment of playgrounds and fun parks are presented on a global level. The definitions of playgrounds and fun parks are also presented based on the legislation in an effort to differentiate the two. Moreover, the third chapter describes the role that the safety standards play in society as well as the characteristics of EN1176 and EN1177. Furthermore, in chapter four, the design of the space where a playground or fun park will be built within a city is described, as well as how Greek law defines the corresponding design. Lastly, chapter five refers to the questions that need to be answered in order to meet the purpose of the study under scrutiny. For this reason, a questionnaire was designed as an electronic form and uploaded on line. Consumers’ education in regard to certified playgrounds and the existence of safety standards will help society to demand new playgrounds and fun parks on the basis of standards EN1176 and EN1177 but also the non-modification of certified sites.
