Σκοπός της παρούσας διπλωματικής εργασίας είναι η μελέτη της εφαρμογής στατιστικών τεχνικών για τον έλεγχο ποιότητας στην παραγωγή του κέρματος ενός λεπτού του ευρώ. Συγκεκριμένα, αφού γίνεται μια εισαγωγή για την παραγωγική διαδικασία που οδηγεί στην παραγωγή του προϊόντος, καθορίζονται οι προδιαγραφές του και ο τρόπος ελέγχου των προδιαγραφών αλλά και της σταθερότητας της διεργασίας. Στη συνέχεια πραγματοποιούνται κάποιες μετρήσεις για το βάρος, το πάχος και τη διάμετρο του κέρματος στα δείγματα που λαμβάνονται κάθε ημέρα παραγωγής. Οι μετρήσεις αυτές επεξεργάζονται στατιστικά και εξάγονται διαγράμματα και περιγραφικά μέτρα που μας οδηγούν σε συμπεράσματα για το προϊόν που παράγεται και το κατά πόσο η διεργασία είναι εντός ή εκτός στατιστικού ελέγχου.
This thesis topic is the application of statistical techniques for quality control in the production of coins and more particularly in the production of coins of one euro cent. Specifically, after an introduction to the manufacturing process which results in the production of the coins, the specifications of the product, the control method of the specifications and the process stability are set. Then we make some measurements for the weight, thickness and diameter of the coin in the samples taken each production day. These measurements are statistically processed and exported diagrams and descriptive measures that lead us to conclusions about the product produced and whether the process is in or out of statistical control.
