    • Στη συγκεκριμένη εργασία προσδιορίζεται αφενός μεν ο ρόλος της πολιτιστικής ταυτότητας και η σημασία της για τη συλλογική δημιουργική πορεία ενός τόπου, αφετέρου δε το νόημα της πολιτιστικής κληρονομιάς στη σύγχρονη εποχή. Αφού παρουσιάστηκε η εννοιολογική θεώρηση των όρων, αναπτύχθηκε το περιεχόμενο του πολιτιστικού κεφαλαίου, το μοντέλο της ‘ζώσας κληρονομιάς’ και ερευνήθηκε η συμβολή των σύγχρονων μουσείων στην γενικότερη πολιτιστική ανάπτυξη μιας περιοχής. Ειδικότερα μελετήθηκαν τα ανοικτά μουσεία, το περιεχόμενό τους και η σημασία τους για τη διατήρηση και αναβίωση του πολιτιστικού παρελθόντος. Ως μελέτη περίπτωσης διερευνήθηκε το Skansen, το οποίο αποτελεί ένα ανοικτό πρότυπο μουσείο με παγκόσμια αναγνωρισιμότητα. Προηγήθηκε η μελέτη του ‘Λυχνοστάτη’ (Ελλάδα – Κρήτη) και του ‘The Nederlands Openluchtmuseum’ (Ολλανδία - Arnhem). Καταγράφηκαν τα κριτήρια λειτουργίας των ανοικτών μουσείων και, σε δεύτερο επίπεδο, εξετάστηκε η προοπτική λειτουργίας ανοικτού μουσείου στο Μετσόβου, που αποτελεί έναν ήδη διαμορφωμένο παραδοσιακό οικισμό. Διατυπώθηκαν προτάσεις, εξήχθησαν συμπεράσματα και αναπτύχθηκε προβληματισμός γύρω από το συγκεκριμένο εγχείρημα.
    • In this particular project it has been determinated from one hand the role of the cultural identity and the importance of the collective and creative process of a place, on the other hand the meaning of the cultural heritage in the modern era. After the presentation of the conceptual consideration of the terms, there has been developed the content of the cultural capital, the model of the "living heritage" plus the research of the contribution of the modern museums in the general cultural development of a place. Το be more specific, there have been studies about the open museums, their content and their importance for the preservation and the revival of the cultural past. As a case study, there was the research of Skansen which is an open model museum known worldwide. Furthermore the case of the "Lychnostatis" (Greece-Crete) proceeded as well as the "Nederlands Openluchtmuseum" (Holland-Arnhem). In addition there have been written down the criteria of the function of the open museums and on a second level, there has been examined the prospective opening an open museum in Metsovo, which is already shaped traditional settlement. Suggestions have been made, conclusions have come out and a questioning has derived about the specific venturing.
