    • “Remodelling, Development, Upgrade of Ecologically Sensitive areas : The Dom outside Veria Town” The study focuses on protection issues and planning outdoor public areas outside town. Parks abroad are mentioned and the bioclimatic principles of planning-which contribute to the improvement of the environment conditions and quality- are introduced. The study of the Dam outside Veria Town is looked into, where the interest is focused on the environmental aspect in relation to other parameters such as functional, social, aesthetic, cultural, financial e.t.c. after the recording, the impression and the evaluation of data and faculties which model the scenery have been studied, though. The detailed planning of the landscape follows the final choice of a general plan. First, the elaboration of the existing situation takes place and then follows the development of a more detailed plan of the suggested modellings, such as the places of traffic and car parks, places where pedestrians can move, stop, enjoy themselves, gather, places of various types of green, places with water e.t.c. Each data itself which composes the modeling is emphasized as well as the relation among them and the relation to the surrounding area. The aim of the study is the modeling of a park which will attract people of every age, sex, financial, social and educational level to a place which is completely contrary to the negative influence of town, trying to assure the need of people’s contact to nature and stop the chaotic and uncontrolled spreading of town against nature and landscape. The suggestion aims to the least financial and energy consumption, the creation of an area which provides three main elements : security, peace and contact to nature, especially to water, to the creation of a ecologically and aesthetically efficient ecosystem which will provide a close relation between people and nature. It must be pointed out that although the planning follows the morphology of the ground and the style of nature demands hard work, careful handling and aesthetic maturity. It fulfils goals, stimulates senses and contributes to the knowledge of environmental reality.
