    • Το όραμα της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης για την Ευρώπη του 2020 περιλαμβάνει μεταξύ άλλων στρατηγικών προτεραιοτήτων, συγκεκριμένες δράσεις σχετικές με την ψηφιακή ατζέντα, την καινοτομία, την δια βίου μάθηση και την αγορά εργασίας που είναι άρρηκτα συνδεδεμένες με την βελτίωση της απόδοσης της εκπαίδευσης και της κατάρτισης. Στα πλαίσια αυτής της εργασίας θα επικεντρωθούμε αρχικά στην ανάπτυξη δικτύων οπτικής ίνας νέας γενιάς στην Ελληνική τηλεπικοινωνιακή αγορά, που προσφέρουν υπερ-υψηλές ταχύτητες μεταφοράς δεδομένων ανοίγοντας νέους ορίζοντες στην ανάπτυξη καινοτόμων τεχνολογιών . Στη συνέχεια θα αναλύσουμε την επιχειρηματική εκπαίδευση και την κατάρτιση των εργαζομένων στο περιβάλλον εργασίας τους, τα προβλήματα που παρουσιάζονται και θα εξετάσουμε τον καταλυτικό ρόλο που αναμένεται να έχει η εφαρμογή της νέας τεχνολογίας στον μετασχηματισμό τους
    • The vision of European Union for Europe 2020 includes among other strategic priorities, specific initiatives related with digital agenda, innovation, lifelong learning and labor market which are closely related with the improvement of the performance of education and training. Under the scope of this dissertation, we will focus on the deployment of next generation optical fiber network in Greek telecoms market which will offer ultra-fast speeds that will facilitate the development of innovative technologies. Then we will analyze business education and corporate training in Greece, the problems currently faced and we will examine the transformational impact the new technology is expected to impose to them
