    • Στη παρούσα εργασία καταγράφονται, μελετώνται, και αναλύονται: η παρούσα κατάσταση στην ασφαλιστική αγορά, η ιστορία του κλάδου, οι εμπλεκόμενοι και τα οικονομικά δεδομένα. Παρουσιάζονται οι συνεχείς αλλαγές και προκλήσεις της τελευταίων έντεκα ετών τόσο σε διεθνές όσο και σε εγχώριο επίπεδο, στους τομείς της οικονομίας αλλά και της κοινωνίας γενικότερα και πως αυτοί οι παράγοντες σχετίζονται με τον επιχειρηματικό και πιο συγκεκριμένα με τον ασφαλιστικό κλάδο. Αναλύεται κάθε χρονιά ξεχωριστά, όσον αφορά σημαντικά γεγονότα που στιγμάτισαν το κόσμο καθώς και συγκεκριμένες αλλαγές στην οικονομία. Στην συγκεκριμένη διπλωματική εργασία γίνεται διερεύνηση των στοιχείων προκειμένου να δοθούν απαντήσεις σε τέσσερα βασικά ερωτήματα: Ποιο ήταν το οικονομικό περιβάλλον της χώρας την τελευταία δεκαετία; Επηρέασε το περιβάλλον αυτό τον κλάδο της ελληνικής ασφαλιστικής αγοράς και αν ναι σε ποιο βαθμό; Οι Ευρωπαϊκές χώρες ακολούθησαν την πορεία που κατέγραψε η εγχώρια ασφαλιστική αγορά σε όλα τα επίπεδα; Ποιο είναι το μέλλον της ελληνικής ασφαλιστικής αγοράς; Τα κλαδικά στατιστικά ομαδοποιήθηκαν, επεξεργάστηκαν και παρουσιάζονται σε διαγράμματα προκειμένου να γίνει ορθή εξαγωγή χρήσιμων συμπερασμάτων τα οποία προέκυψαν από ενδελεχή έρευνα.
    • In the current dissertation are recorded, studied and analyzed the insurance market in Greece and in Europe, the history of the industry and the financial data from 2008 until 2018. The continuous changes and the challenges of the last decade are presented both domestically and internationally, in the sectors of the economy and in society in general. Also, it is examined how these factors are related to the business and more spherically to the insurance industry. Each year is presented and analyzed separately regarding to important events that affected the economy and the insurance industry. In this dissertation, four research questions are investigated and more specifically: what was the economical environment in Greece in the last decade? Does this environment affect the insurance sector and in what degree? European countries followed the same course as Greece in the particular field? What are the predictions for the future of private insurance in Greece? The industry statistics are grouped, processed and tabulated in order to correctly draw useful conclusions that emerge thorough research.
