    • Σε ενα ταχεως αναπτυσσομενο αλλα και ταυτόχρονα, συνεχώς μεταβαλλομενο οικονομικό περιβάλλον, όπως αυτό που παρατηρούμε στις μέρες μας, οι οργανισμοί είναι υποχρεωμένοι να διαθέτουν, το δυνατόν περισσότερες, λεπτομερείς πληροφορίες, σχετικά με την θεση του οργανισμού τους, σε οικονομικούς όρους, προκειμένου να μπορούν να κάνουν ασφαλέστερες προβλέψεις για το μέλλον, και την ιδια στιγμή, να γίνουν ισχυρότεροι έναντι του ανταγωνισμού. Μέχρι και πριν μερικές δεκαετίες, ηταν ελάχιστες οι εταιρείες, οι οποίες είχαν τη δυνατότητα να αντιληφθούν την σπουδαιότητα του Financial Reporting. Και δυστυχώς, ήταν ακόμα λιγότερες εκείνες, οι οποίες το χρησιμοποιούσαν με τον ορθό, όσο και ανεξαρτητο, τρόπο. Συνεπώς, το Financial Reporting, ήταν ελλιπές και φτωχό στη σύστασή του, καθώς, αποτελείτο από τα απολύτως απαραιτητα εργαλεία, όπως μια βασική ανάλυση του Ισολογισμού και ορισμένους οικονομικούς δείκτες. Όμως, καθώς οι εταιρείες εξελίσσονταν και γιγαντώνονταν, αναπόφευκτα, ο ανταγωνισμό, γινόταν όλο και σκληρότερος.Η πληροφορία, «ταξίδευε» ταχύτερα, και οι ανάγκες ενός πιο πλήρους reporting, έγινε αναγκαιότητα. Επιπλέον, ορισμένα σκάνδαλα τα οποία βγήκαν στην επιφάνεια, στις αρχές του 2000, ενίσχυσαν αυτή την αναγκαιότητα. Αυτήν ακριβώς την ανάγκη, έρχεται να καλύψει το Integrated Financial Reporting. Χρησιμοποιώντας τα πλέον σύγχρονα εργαλεία και συλλέγοντας όλες τις απαραίτητες πληροφορίες, παρέχει στους επικεφαλής της εταιρείας, την δυνατότητα να σκέφτονται με έναν ερύτερο τρόπο, διευκολύνοντάς τους να λαμβάνουν ορθότερες αποφάσεις για το μέλλον της εταιρείας.
    • In a fast paced financial environment, as the one of our days, the companies are obliged to have as more details as they could have, regarding their current situation, in financial data and terms, in order to make better and safer provisions for the future, and, at the same time, becoming stronger against the competition. Until few decades ago, there were only few of the companies worldwide that could realize the real meaning of the financial reporting and how important is for them. And unfortunately for them, there were even fewer those, that used it in a proper and independent way. Consequently, the financial reporting, was really poor itself, with the only the necessary tools, consists of a primary analysis of a Balance Sheet and some basically financial ratios. But, as the companies became stronger, the competition became harder as well. The information, travelled faster and the needs of an even better reporting, became a necessity. Additionally, some of the biggest scandals occurred in the early 00’s, fed this necessity. This is the need that the Integrated Financial Reporting, is coming to cover. Using the most updated tools and collecting all the possible provided information, it provides to the head of the company, the capability to think "out of the box", facilitating the decision making for the future of the company. We'll achieve the target of the dissertation, using (among other) an interview and questionnaire survey.
