Στην παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία επιχειρείται η συνοπτική, αλλά εμπεριστατωμένη παρουσίαση και μελέτη του οικοσυστήματος των καινοτόμων νεοφυών επιχειρήσεων (startup companies) και ο τρόπος που αυτές δημιουργούνται και αναπτύσσονται μέσα σε αυτό, χρησιμοποιώντας τις ευκαιρίες και ξεπερνώντας τις αγκυλώσεις και τα τυχόν προβλήματα που ενδεχομένως αποτελούν τροχοπέδη στην ανάπτυξή τους.
Λαμβάνοντας υπόψη ότι το κύριο χαρακτηριστικό που διέπει αυτές τις επιχειρήσεις είναι η καινοτομία, αρχικά επιχειρείται μια θεωρητική προσέγγιση της έννοιας της καινοτομίας και του ρόλου που αυτή διαδραματίζει στην εξέλιξη των νεοφυών επιχειρήσεων. Κατόπιν, γίνεται ανάλυση των δομών που αποτελούν το οικοσύστημα των νεοφυών επιχειρήσεων, με ιδιαίτερη μνεία στους τρόπους χρηματοδότησης (παραδοσιακούς και καινούργιους) και επιπλέον γίνεται προσέγγιση των πλέον σύγχρονων και καινοτόμων μεθοδολογιών, εργαλειών και τεχνικών που αξίζει να γνωρίζει και να χρησιμοποιεί μια νεοφυής επιχείρηση προκειμένου να πετύχει ταχεία ανάπτυξη.
Στη συνέχεια, πραγματοποιείται μελέτη περίπτωσης της ελληνικής νεοφυούς επιχείρησης Three Cents, στην οποία περιγράφεται η καινοτόμος ιδέα που εισήγαγε η εταιρία στην ελληνική αγορά, ο τρόπος λειτουργίας της και οι ταχείς ρυθμοί εξέλιξής της μέσα στο θεωρητικά περιγραφόμενο οικοσύστημα λειτουργίας των νεοφυών επιχειρήσεων. Αντλούνται λοιπόν συμπεράσματα και παρουσιάζονται τρόποι βελτίωσης, προκειμένου να μπορέσει να βελτιωθεί η λειτουργία και η αποδοτικότητα των δομών υποστήριξης του οικοσυστήματος των νεοφυών επιχειρήσεων στην Ελλάδα.
This dissertation attempts to include a presentation and study of the ecosystem of innovative start-up companies and how they are created and developed within it by using opportunities and overcoming the anchorages and any problems that may hinder their development.
Bearing in mind that the main feature of these enterprises is innovation, a theoretical approach to the concept of innovation and its role in the development of start-ups is initially attempted. Furthermore, an analysis of the structures that make up the ecosystem of start-ups is carried out, with particular reference to the financing methods (traditional and new) and in addition, the most modern and innovative methodologies, tools and techniques that a start-up should know and use in order to achieve rapid growth are approached.
A case study of the Greek start-up “Three Cents” is then carried out, describing the innovative idea introduced by the company in the Greek market, the way it operates and the rapid pace of its development within the theoretically described operating ecosystem of start-ups. Conclusions are therefore drawn and ways of improvement are presented in order to improve the functioning and efficiency of the building ecosystem support structures in Greece.
