  12. Using the case study of Airbnb both negative and positive impacts of sharing economy business to societies, the study presents a list of scientific researchers that investigate the effects in specific cities around the world. Using the data and conclusions from all those case studies, the list of impacts and societies is created and it illustrates the general and common effects that locals have been faced with. Furthermore, effects in the tourist industry and the way it has been adjusted through the entrance of Airbnb and touristic areas is part of this study as well
    • Η παρούσα εργασία στοχεύει να αναλύσει την έννοια της οικονομίας διαμοιρασμού ως φαινομένου και των αξιών της στις κοινωνίες. Καθώς το φαινόμενο της οικονομίας διαμοιρασμού εμφανίστηκε στις πρώτες ανθρώπινες κοινωνίες στην ιστορία τις τελευταίες δεκαετίες, έγινε αντικείμενο μελέτης πολλών επιστημόνων λόγω της χρήσης του στην ανάπτυξη των επιχειρήσεων αλλά και στον σύγχρονο ανθρώπινο τρόπο ζωής. Ο σκοπός της μελέτης είναι να εξηγήσει πώς η οικονομία διαμοιρασμού δημιουργεί αξία για όλες τις πλευρές που συμμετέχουν. Το πιο σημαντικό πράγμα για την αξία είναι η έννοια της συν-δημιουργίας. Με άλλα λόγια όλες οι πλευρές που συνεργάζονται μεταξύ τους ανταλλάσσουν αξίες χρήσιμες για τις άλλες πλευρές. Σήμερα, υπάρχουν χιλιάδες επιχειρήσεις των οποίων το επιχειρηματικό μοντέλο είναι μια ψηφιακή έκδοση οικονομίας διαμοιρασμού σε συγκεκριμένους τομείς. Πολλές από αυτές τις επιχειρήσεις έχουν καταφέρει να γίνουν παγκόσμιες και πανίσχυρες πλατφόρμες των οποίων οι δραστηριότητες επηρεάζουν τις τοπικές κοινωνίες και τις κυβερνήσεις. Στον τομέα του τουρισμού, η πιο γνωστή περίπτωση είναι η πλατφόρμα Airbnb μέσω της οποίας οι ιδιοκτήτες σπιτιού μπορούν να διαθέσουν το διαμέρισμά τους ή ακόμη και ένα μέρος αυτού για ενοικίαση σε επισκέπτες που αναζητούν λύσεις διαμονής στην ίδια τοποθεσία. Αυτή είναι το case study που χρησιμοποιείται στην τρέχουσα έρευνα για να παρουσιάσει πώς το φαινόμενο της οικονομίας διαμοιρασμού δημιουργεί αξία για πλατφόρμες, για ανθρώπους και για κυβερνήσεις. Η διαδικασία ανόδου και ανάπτυξης της πλατφόρμας παρουσιάζεται στην συνέχεια, αναφέροντας ορισμένα κρίσιμα μέρη της διαδικασίας και τους λόγους που μετέτρεψαν την ιδέα σε διεθνή τιτάνα στον τομέα. Χρησιμοποιώντας το case study της Airbnb τόσο αρνητικές όσο και θετικές επιπτώσεις της κοινής οικονομίας επιχειρήσεων σε κοινωνίες, η μελέτη παρουσιάζει μια λίστα επιστημονικών ερευνητών που διερευνούν τις επιπτώσεις σε συγκεκριμένες πόλεις σε όλο τον κόσμο. Χρησιμοποιώντας τα δεδομένα και τα συμπεράσματα από όλες αυτές τις περιπτωσιολογικές μελέτες, δημιουργείται ένας κατάλογος επιπτώσεων και κοινωνιών και απεικονίζονται τα γενικά και κοινά αποτελέσματα που αντιμετώπισαν οι ντόπιοι. Επιπλέον, τα αποτελέσματα στην τουριστική βιομηχανία και ο τρόπος με τον οποίο προσαρμόστηκε μέσω της εισόδου της Airbnb και των τουριστικών περιοχών είναι επίσης μέρος αυτής της μελέτης.
    • The current standing aims to introduce the meaning of sharing economy as a phenomenon and it's values in societies. While the sharing economy phenomenon appeared in the first human societies in history last decades became study object of numerous scientists due to the use of it in business development and in modern human lifestyle. The purpose of the study is to explain how the sharing economy creates value for all sides who engage in. The most important thing for the value is the meaning of co-creation. In other words all sides who collaborate with each other exchange values useful for the other sides. Nowadays, there are thousands of enterprises whose business model is a digital version of sharing economy in specific domains. Many of those businesses have achieved to become world wild powerful platforms whose operations affect local societies and governments as well. In the main of tourism, the most well-known case is the platform Airbnb through which homeowners are able to share their apartment or even a part of it for rent to guests who seek for accommodation solutions and the same location. This is the case study that is used in the current investigation to present how the phenomenon of sharing economy creates value for platforms, for people and for governments. The rise and the growth process of the platform is presented below by mentioning some crucial parts of the process and the reasons that transformed the idea to an international titan in the domain. Using the case study of Airbnb both negative and positive impacts of sharing economy business to societies, the study presents a list of scientific researchers that investigate the effects in specific cities around the world.
