Abstract: In today's times, the business environment is experiencing a major change. The explosive development of new technologies, as well as their sweeping penetration of the business sector, creates real revolution in all areas of human activity. Businesses are required to operate in an ever-changing business environment. Within it, they are adapting their strategy and structure, while investing in state-of-the-art technologies and new organizational models. Over the last years even more and more companies are investing in developing the skills of their people who possess responsible positions. The old management model, where the manager was the “pure” boss having as the main and only task to distribute activities, is changing rapidly. A person who has the responsibility over a team of people has to develop many different skills in order to be efficient for the company. Coaching, Motivation, Communication and collaboration are some examples of this topic. Now, more than ever before, we are confident that managers and team leaders are playing a very significant role in company’s competitive advantage. By having the appropriate background and education, managers contribute significantly in the shaping of a good organizational climate. This good climate has proven to be related directly to the company’s marketing performance
