Abstract: This dissertation examines the Responsibly Property Investing (RPI), a recently introduced term in the real estate sector, and aims to clarify the key factors of responsibility and their impact on investment process. It investigates whether there is a link between the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) ratings of listed real estate companies and their financial performance, by analyzing a sample of publicly traded EU real estate companies and assessing their financial performance with respect to their ESG performance.
